Treatment Description

Welcome to Yin Yoga, a style of practice that offers deep relaxation, deep stretching and a renewed sense of wellbeing. In this class, we move into stillness, holding floor-based yoga poses for up to 5 minutes. This means the sequence is simple to follow along with. The key to the practice is breathing deeply and slowly, which is guided throughout. Yin Yoga is for everyone and my style of teaching is centred around accessible and inclusive experiences. The practice traditionally requires no extra props (other than a yoga mat) but in my experience, over the last 9 years, I have seen how props can be of great benefit. Therefore, to help facilitate a practice that feels great in your body (and that gives you both options and support), I recommend bringing along the following items. - One Yoga Mat - One Blanket - Two Yoga Blocks (or firm cushions) - One Yoga Strap (or dressing gown cord or belt) - One Yoga Bolster (optional) This class will offer you space, time, and the opportunity to relax, release and restore your body and mind. If slowing down and taking time to realign is calling you, you are warmly welcomed to this guided class. Held at Barefoot Fitness Forres, 156 High Street, Forres, IV36 1NP Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class starting at 6:15pm. Doors close once class starts.
